Start Robot Program
This article mainly explains how to start the robot control program using the handheld controller. To ensure safe operation, make sure the robot is powered on normally, the emergency stop function is deactivated, and the actuators are powered. At the same time, suspend the robot on a protective support and keep both of its feet off the ground.
Connecting to the Robot
Method One
- Connect Handheld Controller to Robot Wi-Fi: Turn on the handheld controller, go to "Settings" -> "Network & Internet", search for the network provided by the robot and connect. The Wi-Fi name is similar to GR225JN0089_5G or GR225JN0089_2.4G. The Wi-Fi password is fftai,2015.
- After connecting to the robot Wi-Fi, click the "GR Control" APP on the handheld controller. The handheld controller will automatically connect to the robot and directly enter the "Home" page as shown below.
Method Two
- Locate and open the "GR Control" APP on the handheld controller.After opening the APP, the following interface will appear. Click "Connect" to enter the robot "Connection Management".
- After entering "Connection Management", click the "+ Card" to manually add a robot card.
- Then enter the robot's name and password to add the robot card. The robot name is the product number, similar to GR225JN0089. The password is: fftai,2015. After successfully adding the robot card, the card highlights indicate the current robot is in the "Connected" state. Click "Refresh" to refresh the current robot connection status. (After the robot connects successfully, the handheld controller will automatically connect to the robot Wi-Fi.)
Start the Robot Control Program
- After connecting to the robot, you can tap the “START” button on the home page to launch the robot control program.
- After the robot is successfully connected, you can also go to the robot “Connection Management” page, select the target robot card, and tap “START” to launch the robot control program.

Before starting the robot control program, make sure the robot’s emergency stop is deactivated and the actuators are powered on.
